I have taken lessons from Sam on and off over the last 7 years.

When I started with him it was on a whim. I found his youtube, and said ‘what do I have to lose?’. I have a history with music, having sung in choirs most of my life but I never had the sound I wanted outside of a choir setting. And I couldn’t figure it out on my own. I can honestly say that while I will probably never be a professional or anything like that, that investing in myself for this hobby that I am so passionate about has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 

Not only did Sam never once make me feel awkward, or weird, or like I didn’t know what I was talking about, but he helped me to feel so much more confident and comfortable singing in front of real life people.  He’s fantastic at seeing what someone needs, even if they can’t see it themselves, and pulling at it gently enough that you don’t even notice that he’s doing it and BAM you’re doing things with your voice you didn’t think were possible. He meets you were you are at, and pushes you to get to be where he knows you can be.
